Norwood Park, an exclusive country estate in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, was the unique setting for this Dark Romantic styled shoot. Bursting with moody winter wedding vibes, and the perfect mix of timeless elegance meets opulent fairytale, this dreamy shoot is one of our favourites to date. Organised by Charlotte of Fine & Dandy, we get all the deets on this stunning shoot!

"With the micro wedding trend continuing into 2021, Dark Romance showcases the beauty of being small on numbers yet big on style and full of grandeur. A monochrome colour palette, with pops of sugary pinks, rich rubies and deep reds were seen throughout, with contemporary gold and black styling details, which included a feature diamond shaped backdrop. An abstract three tier cake with hand painted detailing also took centre stage. With florals playing such a huge part of the shoot, an array of bold dip-dyed ferns and foliage were used, with roses, winter berries and stunning bright anthuriums, which added texture and sumptuousness. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a glass of bubbly in a roll top bath adorned with trailing florals?

Newly engaged Shelley & Matt were the rock star couple who oozed chemistry, in not one, but three different looks. We did say small on numbers, and big on style! One of the hero dresses being a short embellished dress by Oui the Label, accessorised with statement gold jewellery and white cowboy boots, showcasing the Bride’s signature style. Hair and make up were also a step away from tradition, with wild curls and oversized headbands, and smoky eyes with plum lips. This dark and romantic styled shoot, really is giving us all the Winter Wedding feels"
